SND Podcast #4 - Seriously sweaty mix - 06/07/06

After last month's stunning live set from Audio Dependent, we're back to our regular routine of cobbling together random slices of our record collections for entertainment. This time Amiable Fellow gets sweaty in the summer heat with a few carefully selected clicks and cuts, some forward-thinking techno and a full-on electro rock meltdown finale.

SND Podcast #5 - Warm welcome mix - 18/08/06

This month's broadcast of electronic entertainment acts as an introduction to the first new addition to the SND consortium/collective/bunch of people since starting out in March this year. Hailing from Birmingham, Unicide has compiled an hour's worth of his favourite tunes, spanning from the early nineties up to the present day. This laidback mix flows through a host of electronic styles including offbeat New York hip-hop, pioneering ambient works, electro-acoustic crossovers and plenty of classic glitch electronica from the pedigree chum of British labels. So that makes a grand total of three SND cohorts and one step closer to world domination.

SND Podcast #6 - 2 up 4 across mix - 31/10/06

A brand new mix from a brand new DJ! Old Strikes New, one of our chums from the audio-visual collective TriggerSet, has bailed us out of our podcast slump by sending over an ultra-diverse radio style mix to kick off the party season. There is some serious ear candy on here as our man cycles through all manner of twisted hip-hop, bass-heavy techno, downtempo electronica, reflective indie numbers and some choice comedy moments. A big thank you to Old Strikes New for putting this together, you're on the Christmas card list.

SND Podcast #8 - Safe As Funk mix - 27/08/07

Back in March, a certain Mr. Audio Dependent sent in this mix having gained some notoriety in the London minimal techno scene with releases on the After Dinner and Metroline Ltd netlabels and a number live shows at MultiVitamins. Sadly, some laziness ensued over summer and it's only just been added to the podcast, still better late than never eh? It's a genuine live DJ mix done in one-take featuring the funkiest minimal techno tracks from the likes of Troy Pierce, Alex Under, Dominik Eulberg and the unstoppable force that is Ricardo Villalobos.
