VICSID - Disjoint
Another debut release for SND, this time coming from South London artist Vicsid.
By building non-repetitive compositions with fast-moving rhythms and textures, Vicsid makes dense electronic music that consistently engages the listener.
Like an amalgamation of Autechre, LFO and Clark, his synthetic textures shift and mutate around dynamic rhythms in order to deliberately catch the listener off guard and create an intense and unsettling atmosphere.
Patterns emerge as quickly as they disappear, leaving only distant images of the music's creative source and suspending the listener between engagement and abandon.
